Here's a sketch I did while sitting in front of the TV listening to Karate Kid II. That's what I get for staying up till 3 a.m.

Illustration Friday "Enough"

How much is "enough" when your drinking?
I started joining in the fun over at Illustration Friday, go check out some great artists.

A zombie in Dallas and Vegas

My artist friend Kyle Alcott over at the Dallas Morning News requested a design for a T-shirt. I think he said Zombie so I took the idea and ran. I believe he will be sporting this little number sometime at the Society for News Design conference, September in Vegas.

Check out my 20's

This is how the cobra design came out for a local wheel distributor to be used on caps for their rims. It was a quick turnaround and it turned out nice and clean.

Archie the aardvark

This one I did a little while ago. I was contemplating what to sketch in the ole sketchbook when a friend at work said, "How about an aardvark". I think she was being sarcastic, but I went full steam ahead with my pen in hand.

All bizzy up in this sketchbook

I picked up a pencil this weekend after many years of using pens in my sketchbook. Not to bad. I think Rocket Man on the right will be my next Illo. Stay tuned. I think the left sketch came about from a stressful Thursday at work last week.

Take it easy

My cover for "The Easygoing Guide to Natural Florida", Volume 2 has printed. Get to your bookstore or go visit my friends over at Pineapple Press

From a sketch to finish, this one I did became a T-shirt for hubby. He chose the logo in the circle and it tuned out sweet.

Creature feature

I thought I would start posting some work, since friends and family ask me every now and then what I've been working on. Stay tuned.
